I just finished reading Sarah Waters’ novel, The Night Watch, and what do I do? Watch the recent BBC adaptation. I can’t believe they truncated a nearly 500 page story into 90 minutes! The costuming and art direction were spot on, at least.
Here is the main protagonist, Kay Langrish, wearing her sexuality and freedom in the form of men’s trousers. I wish I had the legs for such a look.
